GOLD! was Kate's idea, which she pitched to Nick as a middle aged love story with added gangsters, during the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022. Her career has spanned over 4 decades which has seen her act, direct and write in Africa and the UK.

Nicholas is a veteran of touring theatre including many appearances at festivals world wide. Edinburgh of course is a staple but you may also find him in Orlando, Adelaide or Korea. He has written, performed and directed many plays and hopes to continue in this vein for many years yet! 

Madeleine is currently studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, following a successful career as a catwalk model for the likes of Dior and St Lauren.

David directed GOLD! and as he is also an experienced and qualified movement and fight director, he also choreographed all the dance moves and fight sequence. A multi talent, you may also spot his turn as an Elvis impersonator during the play!
